Matguard Shines at National Conference of High School Directors of Athletics

SAN DIEGO, CA – Matguard USA a leading supplier of product antibacterial skin care and athletic surface cleaners used in the prevention of MRSA, skin disease and infections was the stand out performer at the 39th Annual National Conference of High School Directors of Athletics.

The conference sponsored by the National Federation of State High School Associations and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association was attended by over 1500 Athletic Directors and Athletic Administrators from across the country. Matguard provided a sample and demonstration to virtually every AD in attendance through booth presentations, direct meetings and a special brand intro arranged via the associations’ annual luncheon. Every person entering the luncheon facility was provided interactive product demonstration that served to educate the attendee’s on Matguard’s unique product benefits, while helping to maintain a clean “No-Bacteria” message for the athletic community.

The Matguard demonstration crew was highly visible throughout the San Diego Convention Center. “Our goal was to make sure everyone had a chance to experience the products” Stated Eileen Bowker, MA-ACT, Matguard’s Athletic Trainer Liaison. “Once they saw the product and asked questions, we won them over” Bowker added. “Based on the hundreds of Athletic Directors who provided us their contact info after trialing the product, we can safely say, no other exhibitor came close to us in terms of traffic, visibility and actual sales.”

Many high schools already use Matguard in their wrestling programs, and the company is making a big push into other sports and athletic activities. “Matguard has proven to be a highly effective product that has dramatically reduced skin born infections in our wrestling programs”, according to Buddy Haines, Athletic Director of Middletown High School in New Jersey. “We have been pleased with the performance and my coaching staff and athletes have all responded favorably.”
